PROFILE:
I live in Mission Viejo, CA.
Growing up in India predisposed me towards intense color and light. My paintings are diverse in themes and styles. Several recent paintings deal with change and the rate of transition in the 21st century. The mashing of global cultures and thought can be felt in the bewildering cast and the unprecedented etiquettes in several works. SAVE the MERMAID, DANCE BEFORE DYING and HEREAFTERS Inc. are part of the recent series that project the angst of entering a new era in human existence.
During 2014 I participated in shows that traveled to the QUEENS MUSEUM, CROSSING ART Gallery, and the NATIONAL Arts Club in NY City and AMERICAN CENTER in NEW DELHI. My current group show EBART 2015 presented by the NYC based IAAC kicked off in New York City on March 28 at Flushing City Hall, and is currently at the Williamsburg Art & Historical Ctr. NYC. The next venue is the HAMMOND MUSEUM, N. Salem NY, beginning Jun 24, 2015.
Thanks for stopping by; I would love to hear any thoughts/feedback on this portfolio! Please leave me a comment here or email anytime.
